Betty Catroux

I adore Betty Catroux’s cool, laid back rock n roll style. The lady is now over 60 and still got it! She was Yves Saint Laurent model and muse in the 60s & 70s. Although she is tall & willowy, which makes anything look cool, I do admire someone that has a signature look and sticks with it throughout the decades. Having been asked by Halston’s lover in 1976 what she did, Betty replied ‘nothing’ and continues to stand by this today, how refreshing! Although I would say it is probably a little of her nonchalant attitude coming through her personality as well as her style. Her and Yves hated normal life and strived to be different from the norm and through these images of Betty they come to life. I’m inspired.
