Denim

The fashion media keep predicating that skinny jeans are on the way out and it does seem they have been a fashion staple for some years now. I have mixed feelings about them as, surprisingly, they do suit a lot of shapes and sizes and you don’t have to be tall and thin to get away with them. I wear mine a lot and they work in all situations dressed up or down and I especially love teaming them with vintage shirts, jackets, tops and shoes. Although I yearn to wear something with a slight flare – a more modern take on the 70s. But I haven’t found the right pair as yet and when I do I will shout it from the rooftops. The best skinnies for me (short legs) have been the Top Shop Jaimie range, no hems need taking up, perfect fit and in fashion rinses and colours.

Lots of denim around at the moment and it would seem by celebrity designers like Alexa Chung for AG Jeans(love that denim dress). And Top Shop have put out their fantastic jeans range with model Hailey Baldwin pictured.
